How often should I use Clarifying Shampoo?
1 to 2 times a month, depending on your needs.
Here are some signs to look out for: greasy flat roots, dry/irritated scalp, hair looking dry and dull no matter what products are used to combat this, excess frizz, limp curls/waves, styling products aren’t working, or excess shedding (more than usual).
Is Clarifying Shampoo safe for all textures?
Yes! While formulated for curls, this is a nourishing reset for all hair types.

Is Clarifying Shampoo chelating?
Yes, our Clarifying Shampoo is chelating! That means it has ingredients that help to remove build up of metals, minerals, & products from within the hair shaft.
Why only No Fragrance Added?
Clarifying Shampoo is only offered in No Fragrance Added so there are no added essential oils. This allows for a truly clean slate for Conditioning & Styling.
Is Clarifying Shampoo color-safe?
While most Clarifying Shampoos can be highly stripping for color-treated hair, ours contains mild surfactants making it safer to use. We do not recommend use right after dying as this would increase the likelihood of color stripping and drying.
How is this different from regular shampoo?

Will Clarifying Shampoo remove silicones from my hair?
Yes, our Clarifying Shampoo is strong enough to remove water soluble silicones.
I feel that this shampoo is like gentle lather (which I really like) but with a bit more punch, however for my hair (low porosity, fine), it needs even more punch. I can tell because I don’t have the volume I usually see after I clarify, and my roots are still a fit flat. In the photo I used the clarifying shampoo, too shea! (30 min) and spiralicous. This is not a bad clarifying shampoo, I had good results but I might stick with my stronger surfactant shampoo for now.
This is the best clarifying shampoo. It is gentle on your hair, my hair felt fabulous afterwards. I love it!
Does what it’s supposed to do, get super clean hair
I thought all clarifying shampoos were all alike - extremely drying as everything was stripped from the hairs. Then I tried a sample of this clarifying shampoo. Holy bad word, this bad word shampoo is bad word awesome!!!!!!!! Ten stars!
Very good clarifying shampoo. Followed this up with Too Shea conditioner and my curls bounced back. Love it.
This shampoo was great at removing oil from my hair, but I felt like it was too intense and removed too much and caused frizz. My hair is fine & porous, so not the right product for me.
