Shake before use. Style your curls as usual then, holding the bottle upright and at least 6 inches from your curls, spray a light mist over your hair. Allow your curls to dry, then add more hair spray if needed. Use this spray on dry curls for a strong hold. If the sprayer becomes clogged, rinse in hot, soapy water.

Can I use Aquavescent Hair Spray alone?
If you are not looking for curl enhancement, and just need hold for your curl pattern, Aquavescent Hair Spray is a great choice. Spray into hands or directly on clean wet (not dripping) hair, diffuse or air dry, and see a light cast form for you to scrunch out now or later.
My hair is over moisturized but needs hold, help!
You may want to opt for our Aquavescent Hair Spray for hold. It has no added moisturizers but provides strong hold that even creates a cast to be scrunched out later.
How do I achieve volume?
We'd first recommend diffusing with your hair upside down and using alligator clips to clip your hair at the roots in specific areas. You can also try fluffing your roots with a wide tooth comb after your hair has completely dried, and use our Aquavescent Hair Spray to fluff, comb and hold your hair into your desired style and volume.
