Aloeba Daily Conditioner FAQ
Answering All Your Conditioning Questions. Full FAQ Here.
My shampoo/conditioner are slightly different in color compared to my last bottle, is this normal?
Yes, it is completely normal and safe for use. Our batches can tend to have a slight variance in color due to the use of natural ingredients.
How to tell if I have protein overload?
One telltale sign that you're having a protein overload is that your hair will begin to feel easily tangled and drier than normal even when your hair is wet/has conditioner in it.
The best way to help with this is to first stop using products with protein for the time being and balance out the protein with moisturizing ingredients. We'd recommend conducting a Deep Conditioning Treatment/Hot Oil treatment. Additionally, cleanse with our Clarifying Shampoo, as this will help to clean your strands of any products or build up that could still be there, giving your hair a fresh slate! We always recommend adding a little bit of Leave-In conditioner as needed after clarifying to give yourself a nice moisture base, as clarifying is intended to remove excess oils from strands.
After you feel like your hair has balanced out, you can start to incorporate protein back into your routine as protein defficiency can make hair feel fluffy and gummy.
What conditioner do I use for my leave-in?
All Jessicurl Conditioners are dual formulated for rinse-out and leave-in, so depending on your hair needs is how you will choose your leave-in. If you need protein, Aloeba Daily has a lighter touch of hydrolyzed oat protein than Too Shea! does. If you need moisture, Deep Conditioning Treatment is good to use.
