Deep Conditioning Treatment is our heaviest moisturizing conditioner and can be used as a daily conditioner for thick (coarse) textured hair and as a deep treatment conditioner for medium textured hair that needs extra moisture.
It used to be called “Weekly Deep Conditioning Treatment” but then we heard from more and more curlies that they were using it every day, and some were even using it as a leave-in hair mask so we changed the name.
This curly hair care product is a sensation. It’s thick. It’s rich. It’s insanely moisturizing. And best of all, it doesn’t build up and is protein free. It really is the ideal formula for restoring moisture to dry, thirsty curls!

Apply to clean, wet hair. Comb through with a wide-tooth comb and let it settle in for 30-60 minutes. For even more intense conditioning, use with heat or a heated cap. Rinse and style as usual. This can be used daily or as a leave-in conditioner for thicker and drier hair types.

The first time I tried this I was still using some silicone products, and I also didn’t use it with heat. I wasn’t very impressed. Because of the rave reviews, I tried it again after using a clarifying shampoo several times, and with heat (the sauna works great). Wow, what a difference — my hair is less frizzy and curls all the way up to the roots now! Since my hair is low porosity, the heat is really important.

I have thick, fine 2C/3A 50% grey hair. I had a lot of product build-up and protein damage. I tried the Clarifying Shampoo and the Deep Conditioning Treatment (left on for 30 mins) and got my curly, bouncy, healthy hair back from the fuzzy straw it had been. I've also had chronic itchy scalp for years. Healing that has been a longer journey using other Jessie Curl products (scalp massager & scalp stimulating oil) but my hair is in a far better place than it was. I also love that they offer no-fragrance products. I'm committed to these products. Wish they offered a large volume bag option rather than rigid plastic.
