Product Description

Hair Cleansing Cream is a gentle moisturizing cleanser that is best suited for thicker, drier hair types that need more moisture. It doesn’t create tons of lather, but will clean your hair and leave it quite soft. It is protein free and safe for color-treated hair.

Shake bottle, wet hair well and massage into scalp to create a light lather. Finger comb lather through length of hair and rinse well. You may not get a ton of lather with the first application but your hair will be clean. If you want more lather, repeat the cleansing process. Don’t bunch your hair up on the top of your head as this will create tangles. After rinsing, follow with your favorite Jessicurl conditioner.

What is the difference between Gentle Lather and Hair Cleansing Cream?

Gentle Lather Shampoo is best for fine and/or easily weighed down hair that requires less moisturizing. It has low lather, which prevents the hair from being stripped of natural oils. Compared to Hair Cleansing Cream, it is a stronger cleanser. Hair Cleansing Cream contains glycerin and avocado oil for added moisture.

Will Hair Cleansing Cream remove silicones from my hair?

No, Hair Cleansing Cream uses gentle cleansing agents which are not strong enough to remove silicones from hair. Our Clarifying Shampoo is strong enough to remove water soluble silicones.

My shampoo/conditioner are slightly different in color compared to my last bottle, is this normal?

Yes, it is completely normal and safe for use. Our batches can tend to have a slight variance in color due to the use of natural ingredients.

I'm not getting a lot of lather or bubbles during a wash, is that normal?

Yes, our cleansers are low-lather formulated, but rest assured they are working! If you desire more lather, try adding more finger scrubbing motion or you can double cleanse. A good thing to note about our formulas: the more lather you get, the cleaner your hair was to begin with.

This product nourishes and hydrates without weighing my hair down. Plus, combing after using the Hair Cleansing Cream is easier than with the shampoo and conditioner I used to use. Some days I don’t have a single snag or tangle in my long, curly, and formerly dry hair!!!

Love rhe cleansing cream, already bought a bottle after trying sample. Its creamy and works into hair easily, but washes out without leaving my hair weighed down

Helps with dry curls

I used to use a scented conditioner to wash my hair until I started dating someone with a fragrance allergy. I now use this. It works great to wash my hair without drying it out too much. My only complaint is that it usually takes me 2 scrubs or more product than I'd like to make my hair feel clean. I also use the Aloeba daily conditioner and the Confident Coils styling solution.
