Stimulating Scalp Massage Oil FAQ

Answering All Your Oil Questions. Full FAQ Here.

My oil solidified. What do I do?

If product solidifies in cold weather, stand bottle in a dish of hot water for 3-5 minutes and shake well.

How often should I do Deep Conditioning or Hot Oil Treatments?

We recommend doing Deep Conditioning and/or Hot Oil Treatments regularly, about once a week.

Deep Conditioning Treatment: Apply Jessicurl Deep Conditioning Treatment to clean, wet hair. You can add a few drops of our Oil Blend to the conditioner before applying it to your hair. Comb through with a wide tooth comb and let it settle in for 30-60 minutes. Apply heat from a heating source to your hair during the deep conditioning process. This can be done by using a microwaveable heating cap, warming the outside of your cap with a blow dryer, wearing a hooded or bonnet dryer or using a hair steamer. This heat generated from your scalp will allow the conditioner to better penetrate your hair. Rinse and style as usual.

Hot Oil Treatment: Using a separate heat safe container, heat enough oil to cover your hair by placing it in a small pot or bowl of boiling water. Heat the oil for a minute or so, until it is warm to the touch. Apply to either damp or dry hair. Massage the oil into your hair strands, starting at the root and continuing to the end of the hair strand. Leave on for 30-60 minutes. Shampoo and condition your hair as usual, making sure to remove all of the oil from your hair. You may want to shampoo your hair twice to ensure that all of the oil is removed.

How do I get the most out of this Oil?

While Stimulating Scalp Massage Oil won't regrow your hair, it can stimulate your hair follicles and promote healthy growth.

We recommend doing a Hot Oil Treatment with this oil 1-2x/week. Using a separate heat safe container, heat enough oil to cover your hair by placing it in a small pot or bowl of boiling water. Heat the oil for a minute or so, until it is warm to the touch. Apply to either damp or dry hair. Massage the oil onto your scalp. Once you have covered your full scalp, use a Scalp Massage Brush to further stimulate the hair follicles and increase blood flow. Leave on for 30-60 minutes. Shampoo and condition your hair as usual, making sure to remove all of the oil from your hair. You may want to shampoo your hair twice to ensure that all of the oil is removed.

Loved what I've used so far.

I used the deep conditioner or mask and it made my hair so easy to comb through my hair.
