All conditioners do the same thing, right? 🤷♀️
WRONG!! For a long time, we were led to believe all conditioners do the same job, mostly to detangle and make hair soft and shiny, so why give it another thought? However, what conditioner you use plays a big part in how your wash day turns out and how long it lasts!
There are some basic telltale signs that your hair will give you if it's not to its liking, like the ones below.
📌Curly Tip: Conditioner is crucial for all hair types, but not every conditioner will work for your hair type
WEIGHED DOWN, NEED VOLUME?
If you find your hair looking or feeling greasy quite quickly the days after your wash day, along with one or both of the above issues, you are likely using a conditioner that is too heavy for your hair type. Switch to a lightweight formula.
WET FRIZZ, FEELING BRITTLE?
If you are using what feels like half a bottle of conditioner and yet your hair still feels like you have nothing in it, you need to switch to a slightly heavier formula with more moisturizing ingredients.
DETANGLING NIGHTMARE?
If it takes ages to detangle your hair, instead of using massive amounts of conditioner, try a more nourishing conditioner that provides deep conditioning elements. Using a smaller amount of a product like this can save time and product while giving your hair a potent moisture burst!
